The Old Hall School

All pupils eat lunch in the Ward Room, accompanied by staff, where they are encouraged to exercise good table manners. Meals are well-balanced, nutritious and varied and the children are encouraged to adopt a healthy attitude towards food. They are also encouraged to try new flavours and textures in order to expand their tastes.

Our caterers aim ‘to provide a food standard that can't be bettered’. This means using fresh ingredients and introducing modern food styles using traditional methods. They ensure that the focus of all menu development retains the quality and variety that pupils will find attractive and appetising.

Our catering team is passionate, enthusiastic and committed to ensuring that the pupils receive the best possible dining room experience and the managers and chefs consistently look to exceed expectations to produce fantastic, fresh food made with an enthusiasm and passion.

The School aims to provide food of the highest standard, prepared by enthusiastic, motivated staff. They constantly strive to provide the children with a variety of delicious, nutritious food, served with a friendly smile and caring approach – all this despite some of our pupils’ quirky preferences and fussy tastes!

All special dietary requirements are catered for and our catering manager is always open to suggestions and new ideas.
