MATRON CARE
Matron provides another very important facet of the School’s pastoral system.  At The Old Hall, two matrons share the role and are always there to lend a hand.  Matron’s role involves all manner of things such as patching up grazed knees, listening to occasional woes and sorting out all sorts of minor personal ‘emergencies’!  The children find in Matron a real friend away from the classroom; somebody to whom they look for a kind word and gentle approach.  Rest assured, however, Matron is not a pushover and knows every dodge in the book!
