A SENSE OF HISTORY AND A VISION OF THE FUTURE…
For over 160 years, the School was housed in Wellington's oldest building.  With its majestic black and white timbered walls, The Old Hall holds a prominent place in Shropshire history. Originally built in 1480 by Edward Forester, it remained the family seat for over three hundred years, before becoming a school for small children in the early 19th century. Since that time, it has both expanded and evolved to become the School it is today - a fully co-educational, independent preparatory school for girls and boys up to 11 years of age, and a member of the Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools.    It is this mix of old and new, of tradition and progress, which provides The Old Hall School with an outstanding opportunity to meet the educational needs of children facing life in the 21st century.

Above all else, the School aims to continue to encourage its pupils to be happy, well-motivated and confident; capable of achieving the very best they can.
